Pulsar is the only toothbrush with revolutionary ProSoft bristles. These bristles gently pivot and pulse to lift off food and plaque and stimulate gums. Plus, Pulsar’s pressure-sensitive split head adjusts to the contours of your teeth to clean hard-to-reach places while moderating the amount of pressure applied to teeth and gums. The result is an effective clean and an outstanding sensory experience. Cleans teeth, stimulates gums while being gentle on teeth.

Disagree with other users, by the time the battery runs out you should have already replaced the toothbrush because the bristles wear out first. Replace your toothbrush every 5 to 6 weeks. So no problem at all
Yes, I recommend this product.
I disagree with the poor reviews. I began using this *disposable* vibrating toothbrush after a cycling accident which partially extruded one of my front teeth, but not bad enough to put a dental splint on the tooth. I found the toothbrush brilliant at giving my teeth a clean I couldn't otherwise accomplish, and that, actually my teeth felt and appeared cleaner than they had in a long, long time. The (disposable) toothbrush went on sale and knowing that it is a throw-away toothbrush I bought several! A person would simply have had not been paying attention to what you were purchasing to not notice that it is not for replacing batteries - but it is a great toothbrush nonetheless. First purchased at Ulleval Stadiun in Oslo, Norway, and then I bought several more identical Pulsars when I returned back to the UK. Great toothbrush and does what it says on the tin. Five stars.
Well, the product itself is very good, however forget about replacing the battery as the design of the battery connections are a sprung piece of steel that by its design holds the tension and thus continuity. When you go to replacing the battery you have to bend the spring steel quite some way to fit battery and in doing so bend it too far and when screwing cap back on no continuity is achieved. I handed the toothbrush to my head engineer who looked at it and replied " Very BAD Design" .
At that point I gave up and bought another one ..... it works fine .. but it’s now disposable .. rather than change battery! Sean
