What are the differences between electric toothbrushes?

Can I use my rechargeable or battery-powered Oral-B toothbrush in the shower?

Yes, all Oral-B electric toothbrushes are waterproof, so it's absolutely fine to use them in the shower. However, we would like to advise you not to immerse your toothbrush in water. Just make sure that you dry the handpiece thoroughly afterwards - especially if you want to put it on the charging station afterwards.

Can children use Oral-B electric toothbrushes?

Yes, children can use electric toothbrushes once they reach the age of 3. For young kids, we recommend using a toothbrush specifically designed for children. These toothbrushes have brush heads that are smaller than our standard brush heads - so they fit better in smaller mouths. They also have a colorful and fun design to motivate children to brush their teeth. Discover our entire kids line-up here

Many of our products for children have an age recommendation. This may be due to the design, or a particularly child-friendly figure depicted on the product - appropriate for the respective age group. Please always follow the age information on the packaging.

What is covered by the Oral-B warranty?

The Oral-B warranty begins on the day of purchase and is valid for 2 years for all Oral-B Electric Toothbrushes. If your Oral-B product is defective during the warranty period, we will repair or replace it free of charge.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage such as scratches or damage caused by:

• Normal wear and tear 

• Accident, misuse, dirt or water 

• The product is tampered with 

• Improper use 

• Repairs carried out by persons not authorized by Oral-B/Braun 

• Failure to properly care for the product, including charging 

• The product is modified or used for commercial purposes

Which brush head fits my electric toothbrush?

Oral-B offers a variety of replacement brush heads to ensure you find the one that best suits your oral care needs. Oral-B everyday brush heads are designed to fit Genius, Smart, Pro, and Vitality electric toothbrush handles only.
