Where Will The Bus Go Next?

“The bus will join Dentaid’s fleet of charity dental units that provide mobile dental care for people experiencing homelessness, harm, poverty and abuse across the UK.  It will visit emergency hostels, day centres, safe spaces and community hubs with volunteer dental professionals providing treatments and oral health programmes for the most vulnerable people in our communities. By providing dental care in locations where our patients feel safe and supported, we can help to break down the mental, physical, practical and emotional barriers they often face in accessing dental care.  Patients seen on this charity dental unit will include people sleeping rough, families living below the poverty line, those overcoming addiction and survivors of domestic abuse.  Every day, this vehicle will be helping Dentaid to change lives through dental care, saving vulnerable people from the misery of untreated toothache and helping them to feel more confident in their smiles.”
