Our Oral-B electric toothbrushes all come with long-lasting batteries. To get the most out of your Oral-B electric toothbrush, it’s important to fully charge it before your first use.
Depending, on the type of rechargeable electric toothbrush you have, it will take anywhere between 3 up to 24 hours on average to fully charge your brush. The Oral-B iO as of series 7 requires an average charge time of just 3 hours.
The exact run time is highly depending on the individual brushing behavior. Factors like brushing frequency, duration, over-pressure applied during brushing, and to which extend the different features (e.g. the interactive display) are used can of course influence the battery run time. In case your battery runs out earlier than expected, the new magnetic charger provides a full charge in less than 3 hours. And in case you urgently need to brush, a quick charge for 5 minutes only will deliver sufficient battery for a single brushing session.
