Oral B Dual Clean Replacement Brush Head

Question: What's the difference between Dual Clean and other Oral-B toothbrush heads?
Answer: Each Oral-B toothbrush head focuses on slightly different type of cleaning:
• CrossAction has angled bristles to encompass each tooth for a thorough, complete clean.
• TriZone bristles sweep side-to-side to sweep away dental plaque and allows you to brush your teeth as you would with a manual toothbrush.
• Power Tip cleans between teeth, as well as around bridges, crowns and implants.
• Dual Clean features one toothbrush head that rotates and another that moves side-to-side.
• FlossAction has Micropulse Bristles that penetrate deep between teeth to sweep away dental plaque for a floss-like clean (does not replace flossing).
• Precision Clean is designed for precision cleaning and more dental plaque removal than a regular manual toothbrush.
• 3D White features a dentist-inspired polishing cup to remove surface stains.
• Sensitive offers gentle, yet effective cleaning.
• Ortho is designed to safely clean around braces.

Question: How often should the toothbrush head be replaced?
Answer: Dental professionals recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3-4 months, or earlier if the bristles become spread out or frayed. When bristles are worn out, cleaning effectiveness decreases.

Question: Which toothbrush handles are compatible with the Oral-B Dual Clean toothbrush head?
Answer: The Dual Clean toothbrush head is compatible with all Oral-B electric toothbrush handles except Oral-B Sonic. It works with Oral-B Triumph, Oral-B SmartSeries, Oral-B PRO, Oral-B Vitality (except for Vitality Sonic) and Oral-B Pro Health Power.

No more pain

Loved this toothbrush head. I have awful teeth although I try desperately to look after them. Consequently I suffer with sensitivity from time to time and this toothbrush head was brilliant. My teeth felt really clean and my mouth fresh but I didn't feel like I had been "scrubbing" at them. Not had any painful episodes through sensitivity since using this brush head. Can't live without it!

I once heard someone say that electric toothbrushes are for people with stroke, that are unable to move their limbs back and forth doing tasks like brushing their teeth. I have used my trusty oral B for more than 4 years now and I couldn't be happier with it! With Oral B, I managed to get in between gaps and also towards the very rear end of my mouth (wisdom teeth). I change the heads when the blue bristles turn white, which with constant use takes a month or so. I have sensitivity so i tend to use only this kind of replacement heads and they work like magic for me. Love it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Reduction in sensitivity

I use the oral B electric toothbrush and the brushes do go hard after a short while. I have some sensitivity around my gums. The brush looks almost like velvet and feels very soft. I was slightly dubious that they would not clean my teeth as well as the normal brushes, I need not have worried, my teeth feel just as clean and my teeth appear to be the same colour-so no reduction in whiteness. My sensitivity has disappeared since using these and I am converted now. My teeth are just as clean -confirmed by my dentist on a recent check up and no sensitivity . Sensitive clean

Although I usually prefer a harder brush I found that the sensitive heads were gentle on the gums but still left my mouth feeling clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend to my friends [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
